... "I'd like to be there. We are missing everything", claims
Cora.
"We aren't missing anything, we are acquiring the best planes of the world: bombers, fighters, watchtowers, and
helicopters. They are all invisible and they have the best
pilots ready to fight", explains the Lieutenant.
Robie, who was listening to him without much joy, says,
"You and the Captain have been doing the same as Rambo".
"Perhaps you don't approve of it, but every year a thousand
children disappear, and then they are led to a horrible death.
The army can't fight against them because it must follow
rules. Rambo and us don't, and that gives us an advantage
and a possibility, since we try to equal the conditions. If we
let this occasion go by, we'll never forgive ourselves for this.
Now, we have a leader to follow, eith our united forces. Dom't thing the government doesn't know about as. Oh, yes!
They call us "the needed evil".
... "OK, You've convinced me. I didn't criticise you, but I didn't
believe I belonged to something like that".
"And now?"
"Now? Well, my daugter and the son of the man I love were
kidnapped violenyly from the kitchen of my house and trated
as good of exchange. I know I don't want more children to
disappear and I would fight for that. But if our children
con't come back, I'll become an elephant coming into a hut
made of leaves from palm trees and looking for her baby.
Does it answer question?"
The Lieutenent and Cora show her two big smiles. The Lieutenant continues with the computer, waiting, and then
he tells Cora, "Have a look here. I must do something.
I hope they have left the channel through which they have
phoned open and whoever has dicerted my signal is alert".
And he sends a Morse message. In Rambo's shelter, the
Captain listens to the insignia and calls Rambo.
"Boss, Bruce says we will have air force at midnight!"
