... At the from part of the submarine, Rambo gives short and
direct orders. His expressions is indescribable. He has the
st homicide look in his eyes. He has all his arsenal pointing
to the camp.
"Robie is dead..." he thinks, and then he says, "Fire!"
... At that moment, Cora, who was escaped essly because
nobody ever pays attentions to her, and who has seen the
attack to Robie and Jack, looks for Robie's body desperately
between the branches that fall in the water, knowing that
Rambo is going to bomb the jungle. She jumps and swims.
She hears the enemy soldiers who have hidden, getting
together and coming back to the camp.
"That's it", she murmurs, "get together so that the boss
can kill you better..."
... Cora sumerges, immobile, goes out to breath and
continues looking for Robie. In front of her, there's
a tree literally fallen in the water. Cora murmurs
"That's the place".
She swims frenetically, sees Robie hanging from the
branches just when the first missile impacts at dos
kilometres inside. Then, the second nearer. She tries
to take Robie out without breaking any branch but
she can't from the bottom. She climbs with difficulty.
Robie is still breathing but she is bleeding a lot.
So, she ties her own belt over the wound, and with
great difficulty, she gets her up. Cora falls slowly
with Robie over her, sliding down through the mud
towards the water. There are already trees burning.
Two more missiles go over them. Cora submerges
placing her hand over Robie's mouth and nose.
When she goes out, everithing is as fire hell and
different things come from everywhere: pieces of
tress and military supplies. Under the top of the
tree they are saved from these projectiles, but
suddenly, this one also goes starts to burn and Cora
must get away from it before it falls.
She swims towards her right with Robie still
unconscious, in the opposite direction of the
camp, the place that Rambo and jis people will
choose to come in. A hundred metres, two hundred.
At five hundred metres she find a river that stop the
fire. And she goes in it. The water is warmer, which
is good for Robie, who has got colder and colder...
Cora has to swim against the current and she gets tires.
At intervals she stop to look at Robie, who is still alive.
She doesn't dare to go to the land. Besides, she wouldn't
be able to raise her. The river is getting narrower and
the current is getting worse.
"Hang on, Robie, it's only for a few minutes..."
At that moment, she notices the rocks.
"That's ir. We arrived..."
